Mailbox Information

The following mailbox styles are approved. You do not need permission to replace or fix your mailbox. You must, however, repair or replace your mailbox with the same style. When replacing your mailbox, pay close attention that the face of the mailbox does not stick out over the curb.

Black Mailboxes
The black metal mailboxes can be found at: www.imperialmailboxsystems.com.

The parts are:

Plate 1: https://imperialmailboxsystems.com/product/number-plate/
Box 0: https://imperialmailboxsystems.com/product/imperial-mailbox/
Scroll S: https://imperialmailboxsystems.com/product/s-scroll/

News 6: https://imperialmailboxsystems.com/product/newspaper-holder/ (Some folks don’t have a Newspaper box below the mail box.)
Knob K: https://imperialmailboxsystems.com/product/brass-knob-large/ (Box 0 appears to come with a knob. This would be a replacement knob if needed):

The box face needs to be 18” from the curb, not 6” as the instructions say, or it can lean into the road. Keep in mind with this suggestion that the post connects to the BACK of the box.

Black Mailbox Alternative
A less expensive alternative has recently been approved:

Stratford Mailbox: The Stratford #SC000B01 by Gibralter Mailboxes.

Address Plaque SKU# 1002098600 (The installation manual states that this plaque comes with two mounts options; adhesive or drill and screw.)

Brass Color Address Numbers SKU# 1003111488 (The plaque comes with black numbers but brass numbers will be used instead and must be purchased separately)

Step2 Mailbox
The MailMaster Plus in Stone Gray is the closest product currently available that matches the existing Step2 mailboxes.
